Css sprites not working ipad

Thats what makes the difference. In desktop with different browsers, the character animation is doing great, as in Android too. I took over this site, and the CSS was already set up, with the exception of some layout issues.

If it sees something that looks like a phone number, it will automatically make it a link for the user to select.

I've narrowed it down to the fact that I don't have the menu text eg the word 'face' wrapped in href tags, like it does in the original version of the code. Using image sprites will reduce the number of server requests and save bandwidth. I've literally spent hours on this problem. The only sprites used on this site are for homepage and email links. I have a css powered drop down menu which doesn't work properly on the iphone or ipad. For the animation of the character movement, i'm using a spritesheet. The phone number is supposed to dis.
The phone number is supposed to display above the homepage and email icons, not IN an icon. It works as I want it to on all other browsers and devices I've checked. I'm pretty sure it's because the iOS platform, because neither Safari, Chrome or UIWebView displays the correct behaviour of the Spritesheet. In doing so, it's picking up the styles you are using for the other anchors and, as such, using the sprite. I'm doing a little game, using KineticJS. Image Sprites - Simple Example.
